Behind every quilt there’s a story.

Many hands touch our quilts. Now, with the help of the Touch of Comfort quilt tag, we’re connecting the quilters, volunteers, hospital workers, and families behind them. These are their stories.

Serafina has been hospitalized since her reconstructive foot surgery (left and right feet). After her recovery, we were sent to rehab. I am retired and decided I would learn to make quilts. I Have been doing it for a couple of years and absolutey love it. I saw the ad in one of my quilting magazines and decided it was something my sister and I could do to make a difference and would love to do. I do hope we are making a difference in some of the children lives. I have been doing this for about 6 or 8 months and feel good about doing something for somebody. Lots of Love goes into every one of the quilts I make. .Keep up the good work.Lots of Love from Sandy in Arizona.

Having a son myself, I loved the colors in this quilt knowing that my own son would have loved it. I hope someone gets lots of pleasure and snuggles with this quilt.
