Posted by Naomi (Quilter) on July 18, 2010I am new to quilting, this is my first, members of my church have been quilting with quilts for kids for years and invited me to join them. I am so happy I did Sally from Quilts for kids joined us in our two day quilt fest she had helpful advice and told us stories of how quilts for kids came about what a wonderful organiszation and what a good feeling to be able to help these children. I am a retired nurse and know first hand how much a kind word or deed can mean to a pt. I hope to make many more quilts for kids in the coming years.
