A Joyful Noise

Posted by Pamela (Volunteer) on May 24, 2010 Tags: guitars music colorful
I have played the guitar and sang for 38 years - since I was 10 years old. I am a minister in the Presbyterian Church USA and throughout my 25 years of ministry, I have used my musical talents to bring people joy through music. When I signed up to make a quilt for the Downy Touch of Comfort, I was so excited when I received my fabric in the mail - it had guitars and music notes all over it! The fabric represented what I love to do - bring people joy through music. Hopefully this quilt, which I named "A Joyful Noise," will bring a child a lot of joy - the kind of joy that I have found music can bring to people's lives.
