My Downy has changed. What's different?

New Ultra Downy has the same great softness and freshness as the current Downy. The design and size of the packaging has changed, and the formula has been compacted.

Will new, concentrated Ultra Downy damage my fabrics?
|
|
|
|
No. When you use the recommended dose, you will see no change in how it treats your fabrics, compared with the current Downy.

Are you compacting all of the Downy products? If not, why?

We are compacting the entire line of Downy products over time. The following products are being compacted in early 2007:

You should call the 800 number on the package (1-800-688-7638) with any questions regarding Downy.

Why has the packaging changed?
|
|
|
|
We changed packaging to refresh and update the look of Downy. The new blue bottle is more modern and fresh.

Has the recommended dosage changed?
|
|
|
|
The recommended dosage is smaller for medium and large loads, because the product is 15% more concentrated. We also added a new third measuring line on the cap to accommodate extra large loads.

Has the cap size changed?
|
|
|
|
The Downy cap size is larger to make it easier for you to measure the right amount of product for larger loads.

Why are there two different Downy packages on store shelves?
|
|
|
|
To reduce waste, Downy will continue to sell its current inventory of products until they have been sold. For a limited time, while we transition to the new Downy, you will see the new packaging with your favorite scent along side the current packaging.

I cannot find Downy Soft Ocean Mist and Tropical Clean. Where can I purchase it?

|
These products have been discontinued due to low consumption.
